In the old sitcom “The Jeffersons,” George Jefferson was always “Movin’ On Up!” Joseph’s life was on a downward trajectory. Then Pharaoh had 2 dreams that no one could interpret. When the chief cupbearer tells Pharaoh about Joseph’s ability to interpret dreams, Joseph is summoned from prison. After interpreting Pharaoh’s dreams and relaying God’s plan to rescue Egypt and many more from a 7- year famine, Pharaoh promotes Joseph to his #2. Joseph is moved from prison to penthouse. Because of the blood of Jesus, Christians are moved in a much greater fashion. Christians move from the prison of sin to His glorious light and an inheritance waiting on us in Heaven.
