We’re a congregation of Christ’s church in Rock Springs, Wyoming; part of His body of believers, His living temple here on earth. (2 Corinthians 6:16)
We believe God doesn’t dwell in buildings made by human hands. Instead, He sent Jesus to reconcile us to Himself, making it possible for His children to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth at all times. (John 4:19-24) Our lives — every moment of them — are living and holy sacrifices offered to Him in spiritual service. (Romans 12:1-2)
We’re not a one-person show. You’ll find a variety of faces from our family leading worship, teaching lessons, and leading singing each week. That shared responsibility prepares us for spiritual growth and equips us to be leaders for Christ together.
Kevin, along with his wife Tassie and their children, spent eight and a half years living and spreading the gospel in China before becoming our primary evangelist here in Rock Springs. His experience and passion for the Word make him a grounding presence for our congregation — and his family is a joy to know.
We gather Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings to dig deeper into scripture together, asking questions, building understanding, and sharpening one another.
We share meals, play games, and spend time together outside of formal services. Real community is built in the in-between moments, and we take that seriously.
We are here to help each other. Day by day, we seek to build one another up and stir each other toward love and good works. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
God has established a clear path in the scriptures, one that not only saves the sinner from eternal separation from God, but frees them from sin. His plan is perfect, His Word is perfect, and no tradition or creed holds higher authority than His God-breathed Word. (2 Timothy 3:16)
Scripture teaches that a person must:
Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
(Revelation 2:10)
Jesus commanded His followers to go and make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19-20) That mission drives everything we do in Rock Springs, in Wyoming, and beyond.
