Isaac and Rebekah’s family was a mess. Jacob “convinces” Esau to sell his birthright. Rebekah concocts a plan to cheat her firstborn son out of what was rightfully his. Jacob then deceives Isaac and steals Esau’s blessing. As Esau comes in to deliver the game his father wanted and receive his blessing, both father and brother realize they have been cheated by Jacob. Because of this theft, Esau holds a grudge against his brother and plots against him. Today on “In Need of a Refill,” Kevin Smith looks at “The Fallout” after Isaac blesses Jacob in Genesis 27.
