Things going wrong in life? Not sure if anyone actually cares about what you are going through? God knows and He cares about your struggles. Joseph had a rough life since receiving the multi-colored tunic. Tossed in a pit, sold into slavery, set up by Potiphar’s wife, and now thrown into prison. Just like Peter talks about suffering for doing right in 1 Peter 2, Joseph refused to give in to the pressure just to avoid punishment. However, through it all, God was watching over and blessing Joseph. Paul reminds Christians in Romans 8 and 2 Corinthians 12 that God works in bad situations and our weaknesses to bring about His glory. Jesus tells His followers in Luke 12 not to be like the Pharisees. God wants His people to be genuine instead of putting on a show to fit in with non-Christians.
