Sin had mankind in a stranglehold, and there was nothing they could do about it. Except God loved people and had a plan to fix the sin problem that we caused. Before passing out judgments in the Garden of Eden, God basically told Adam, Eve, and Satan that He was going to fix the broken relationship caused by Adam and Eve’s sin. Thankfully, Jesus chose to die for mankind “while we were yet sinners.” It is the blood of Jesus that makes it possible for Christians to enter into the throne room of God with confidence, to receive constant cleansing for our sins, and even to fellowship with one another. Jesus’ royal, divine blood is more powerful than people can even imagine or put into words. Today on “In Need of a Refill,” Kevin Smith looks at Genesis 3, Romans 4, Romans 5, Hebrews 10, and 1 John 1 to talk about “God’s Plan for Reconciliation.”
